2010 Honda CBF Stunner looks sportier than before
To keep up the pace with time and maintain the interest of the bike lovers, Honda Motorcycles have given a makeover to their popular 125cc bike, the Honda CBF Stunner. The bike was displayed at the 2010 Auto Expo and as expected the technical specs of the bike have remain unchanged.
The bike which can easily be considered as the best looking 125cc bike in India till date has borrowed some of the features from its advanced sibling the Stunner-PGM-FI.
One thing which really impressed me is the presence of the tachometer this time( I wish they have provided a a digital speedo as well). This was one of the things which I felt was really missing from this bike.
The viscous air filter and the maintenance free battery makes the life of the user much easier and hassle free. The addition of the bar end weights further helps in reducing the vibrations at the handlebar.
The half chain cover and the all new Under Cowl (which finds its place beneath the engine area) makes the bike look more sportier than before. Not to forget the overall black theme and the new set of graphics which this bike has.
Last but not the least, to keep up with the trend of other bikes in the country like Yamaha YZF R15 and FZ16, the bike has given away the traditional kick start feature and now comes with electric start only.
To summarize these are the new features int he 2010 Honda CBF Stunner-
*Tachometer- Much desired feature as it provides the engine rpm details
* Maintenance free battery and viscous air filter- Less maintenance and improved performance
* Bar-end weights- reduces vibrations
* No kick start feature- to keep up with the ongoing tradition of no kicks(similar to bike likes Yamaha FZ, and R15 and many other bikes currently in the market)
* Half chain cover and Under Cowl- enhances sportiness
* New graphics and overall black theme of the bike- Again to improve the looks
The bike is available in two variants-
Self-Drum-Alloy with an on road price of Rs. 52,869(Delhi)
Self-Disc-Alloy with an on road price of Rs. 55,962(Delhi)
The available colors are Pearl sports yellow, Sports red, Space silver metallic and Heavy grey metallic.
