FZ8 will be replacing the FZ6 in the European market
Yamaha has recently released the official images of their upcoming bike the FZ8. This bike would be based on FZ1 and is expected to be launched within a few months as a replacement for the FZ6 in the European market. However the chances of this bike getting launched in US are very less for now.
The techincal specs of FZ8 will be out in a few months time
The FZ8 is will compete with the bikes like BMW F800R, Triumph Street Triple, and Aprilia Shiver 750 and will come with an all-new version of the company’s 16-valve inline four motor.
The faired version will be called as Fazer8
Yamaha is also planning to launch the faired version of this bike which would be called Fazer8 or FZ8R. The company has not disclosed the technical specs of these bikes but these details are expected to be out by March this year.
It seems that some good products are being launched from Yamaha in the international market in the 2010. Lets hope that Yamaha has some good plans for our country as well. We are not asking for big 800cc bikes, a mere 250cc bike is what we need at this point of time.
