About Us

Shrawan Raja- Editor-in-Chief

The tower bridge remains as one of my favorite places of interest among all places I’ve been to.

Who Am I?

My name is Shrawan Raja and I’m the Editor-in-chief of Indian Motos Blog, a motorcycle blog updated daily. I’m an Automobile Engineering graduate authoring another popular blog Indian Autos Blog which deals with the Indian auto industry.

What is my background?

I was introduced to blogging by a friend in Romania named Vlad Balan back in 2007, who authors successful blogs. He gave me an opportunity to take in charge of garagelibrary.com, where I wrote with the technical skills attained in my tenure as a trainee at a local workshop, where I still go when not blogging.

Subsequently, I moved to benzinsider.com, purely out of the love I have for Mercs. My dream car might be the BMW 7 Series, but the S-Class staggers me equally. From there on, my short lived stint at topspeed.com came to a grinding halt after the three of us decided it was time to help out Indians in knowing what was happening to our cars abroad, what foreigners feel about our products. In my agenda were also foreigners, who were wanting to know what was going on in India, as it has gained a wide reputation for being the most interesting market in the world.

What is different about Indian Motos Blog?

Let me start by saying Indian Motos Blog (let’s just call it IMB for now) is unlike many popular 2-wheeler blogs you might be used to. I make it a point not to deal with all topics discussed in other blogs so I guarantee you every time you visit IMB, you’ll find something unique.

IMB knows the value in any blog lies with its reader. Some ways we involve the reader are choosing the best comments and posting about it, writing about the motorcycles our readers use everyday, get their questions answered by company heads and ask them what they want to see us write about. IMB is driven by its readers, not by its authors.

What will I find on Indian Motos Blog?

At IMB, you’ll find

1) Spy shots (like the forthcoming Naked Bajaj Pulsar 220)

2) Artist Renderings of future motorcycles

3) Weird News (like Valentino Rossi’s Ice Sculpture)

4) Videos

5) Automotive design projects (like the 2020 Harley Davidson Hubless concept)

Nazish Siddiqui (Nazboy) – Associate Editor

Nazish_nazboy

Hello everyone, my name is Nazish Siddiqui. I’m a bike enthusiast since childhood and Yamaha motorcycles are my favorite. I started my biking expeditions with Yamaha RX-100 when I was in school (I still own this bike, it’s a 1989 model). Yamaha’s R15 amazed me from the time I saw spy pictures, and it has been my companion for more than one year now. Ever since I started biking, my interest in bikes has grown.

I’m fascinated by these beautiful machines on two wheels and this fascination made me gain more knowledge about them. IMB is providing me an opportunity for exploring the world of motorcycles and write about my discoveries in its two wheeler section which I’m in-charge of. Apart from my interest in bikes I also enjoy playing cricket and Table Tennis. As a small kid I always wanted to be a cricketer but unfortunately couldn’t take it up as a career.

In the end I’m very much excited to be a part of this gang and keen to add my bit to it.

Kaustubh Shinde – Contributor

Kaustubh Shinde

Hey yo! This is Kaustubh Shinde, A marketing-techie (by occupation), a complete petrolhead (by heart) and a Jeremy Clarkson fan (since childhood) from Mumbai. The automotive bug caught me quite early when I laid my hands on my first (and current) car, a Maruti Esteem. To make it very clear, I don’t have an automotive educational background but that doesn’t stop me from chasing my dream to make a TopGear India version!

I am always more interested in the aesthetic aspects of the car rather than the technical ones. So no prizes for guessing which is my favorite car..Yes! It is an Aston Martin DBS.

Really excited to be a part of the gang! Hope you enjoy reading my articles.

Shoeb R Kalania – Image Manipulator

Shoeb R Kalania

My name is Shoeb R Kalania. Friends know me as “SRK”

I am here because of the same reason you are here i.e. “Passion for Automobiles.” I wouldn’t be here if it were not for that.

My work here is to make Adobe Photoshop-generated renderings of future cars that are going to hit the Indian and global market. I always had interest in automobile design and IAB/IMB provide me a platform to showcase my talent to international and local audience.

I am an Automobile engineer from a college near Mumbai. In the future, I plan to launch my line of body-kits in the Indian market.
