Yamaha is all set to replace its best selling bike in Indonesia, the Scorpio-Z with a Yamaha FZ (Fazer) with a 250cc engine.However the new bike would still carry the Scorpio name. The 2011 Yamaha Fazer 250 (Scorpio) would compete with the likes of Honda Tiger, Bajaj Pulsar and Kawasaki Ninja 250.

Harley Davidson has opened its 5th Indian dealership in Hyderabad. The American motorcycle manufacturer entered the Indian market in April 2010 and has setup dealerships in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chandigarh.

The Bajaj Pulsar 135LS is a huge success and has sold more than one lakh units within a month of its launch. Now Bajaj has launched a revised version of the Pulsar 135LS with a few changes.

TVS Motors the country third largest motorcycle manufacturer launched it Wego gearless scooter in Chandigarh last week. With the Wego automatic scooter, TVS has the widest range of scooters in India yet Honda is the segment leader with more than 50% market share.

The iconic scooter manufacturer Vespa is all set to begin its third outing in the Indian scooter market. Vespa entered the Indian market way back in the 1960′s with a JV with Bajaj which ended in 1971. Then Vespa tied up with LML for its second innings in India, between 1983 and 1999. Now Piaggio, Vespa’s parent company has given the green signal for Vespa’s Indian re-entry.
