Pulsar 250, will it look something similar to this?
For all those people who love high performance bikes then this could be the news for them. As per the news Bajaj Autos is working on a 250cc bike which is in the final stages of its development.
However the details are not confirmed yet but the bike would consist of a 250cc, parallel twin, four valves per cylinder liquid cooled engine. This bike would set a new benchmark for high performance bikes in India. Bikes having similar specifications are expected to have a top speed of around 160 kmph and capable of producing around 27-32 bhp of power.
This bike will be from Pulsar series as opposed to a new branding.
The most important aspect of this bike would be its cost which is expected to be under 1.5 lakhs. The bike would be equipped with all the features from the current Pulsar 220 with a little bit of changes here and there along with some new additional features to the bike.
With Honda also planning to launch a 250cc this year it looks that the 250cc segment is going to get hotter in the months to come.

Honda is in deep trouble as it is due to Pulsars and yamaha
only activa due to no competition from likes of Bajaj and LML is enjoying sales. But unicorns, shines, and now twisters have been doing downward sissy trends with younger crowds due to high on maintenance ,low on power and pick up,not to mention about the design which is worse than a chinese motorbike
No show off of technology too,I feel bajaj will rule if they do the home work and stream line the portfolio of motorcycles by properly defining whats pulsar, platina and discover instead of making same with three different names like platina 125,discover 125/135 pulsar 135,next discover 150 etc.
they should bring pulsars with KTM 150cc LC engines which are better suited for Indian conditions where Honda is been a failure as regard to pick up and mileage though Honda engines are more quite which are more suited for girly scooters
yes I think Suzuki and honda are cheating world wide by selling bikes like hayabussa and goldwings for more than 12 lakhs for 1000-1200cc motorcycles with tuned car engines fitted with high revving mapping simply making more monies for say an omni sells for 3 lakhs in india same with less cost made as a motorcycle and sold for 8-10 lakhs because of no competition ,and europian high quality bikes are still more expensive by another 50 percent so bajaj and TVS can really ;look for the slot here where suzuki and honda are looting public with flashy ads and bikes
[...] out some of the bigger Pulsars which they spoke about during the launch of this bike last year. The Bajaj Pulsar 250 could be the company’s next big Pulsar [...]
