In an interview with Financial Chronicle, Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Managing Director of Kinetic Motor Company, has said that Taiwanese company SYM, still has a 11% stake in Kinetic Motor Company. Mahindra Two Wheelers first product in the motorcycle segment of the Indian two-wheeler market will be a commuter motorcycle, reports NDTV Profit. Mahindra’s commuter motorcycle will be based on the platform of the erstwhile Kinetic Boss. The Boss was Kinetic’s offering in the commuter segment a few years back.

The first bike from the Mahindra’s Two Wheeler stable could be a commuter based on the erstwhile Kinetic Boss 100cc bike, sources tell us. The Kinetic Boss was powered by a 97.2cc engine producing 7 bhp of max power and 0.68 kgm of max torque. It was deemed as a low-cost commuter for city traffic.
