Recently the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the Ministry of Surface Transport announced that the new automobiles which will hit the Indian roads have to comply with the Electromagnetic Compatibility norms. The Supreme Court of India has upheld the Delhi High Court’s earlier order which mandated every two-wheeler manufacturer to compulsorily include a helmet along with every new two-wheeler they sell in the country. A survey conducted by the Road Safety Foundation in Britain has revealed that 1 out of every 4 fatal or serious crashes which occur on the A-roads or motorways of Britain involves a motorcyclist. The report of the survey titled Saving Lives for Less also found that 1/3 rd of all the fatal or serious crashes occur at road junctions.

Motorcycle and Scooter helmet manufacturer Nolan, has brought out a limited edition version of its N20 helmet, in partnership with automobile giant Fiat. The helmet has been designed to look similar to Fiat’s iconic Fiat 500 hatchback.
