We at indianmotosblog had already reported about the Malaysian motorcyle manufacturer, Demak Motorcycles planning to enter the Indian market soon. Now we have confirmed the company’s plans of entering India, after doing a little probing.
When Indian Motos Blog contacted inquiring about the company’s entry into India, the official stated:
Demak being an international brand, we do have plans to enter the India market. We believe very soon you will be able to see our products at the South Asia region. Demak is currently setting up a factory in Sri Lanka.
We expect the company to launch the 150cc DMX-R bike and the 250cc Cougar cruiser bike initially and then bring on its wide range of scooters and mopeds. The company received a very good response when they showcased their products at the 2010 Auto Expo at New Delhi.
