Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, Mr.Rajiv Bajaj, in an interview with CNBC TV18 said the company’s production level for the Discover 150cc motorcycle is well below the market demand.
The Discover 150 has started well with demand at 45,000 units a month. Bajaj was able to manufacture only 26,000 Discover 150s last month.
Bajaj is confident of reaching 3 lakh motorcycle sales in August. In September, he says his company is good for 3.25 lakh units inching closer to the 4 lakh mark that’s his target for this year.
