Ducati will be bringing some new rave horses to by April next year. By race horses we’re intending the series 848 EVO and the 1198 SP.
Ducati opened their third dealership in India recently and during the inauguration ceremony their Asia Pacific CEO, Mirko Bordiga quoted
The Diavel model would be available in the European and American markets by January or February 2011. The same model would be launched in India by April next year, depending upon the time it takes to clear the necessary customs and other formalities” . This shows the interest that the international players are taking in the Indian market. Also a clear indication can be seen from economics point of view since After China and America India’s is the next leading economy
Premium brands such as Ducati, Harley Davidson etc are now finding that Indian market is far from dry and the purchasing potential of their customers here is strong.
The trend is clearly evident since there are now more number of foreign motorcycle and car dealerships in India than ever before.
Ducati which is known for its monstrous performance and hand built Italian motorcycles is looking to open 10 more dealerships and service centers in the next year.
Ducati is definitely keen in establishing its strong hold in the developing superbike segment in India.
Their Diavel model will be seen in two variants in India; a base version and the carbon- s version.
