Ducati’s hybrid motorcycle isn’t all that fast

DUCATI CITY PEARL

The recent rumors of Ducati making a hybrid Superbike had the entire biking boys community worried. Biker boys breathe a sigh of relief. Ducati didn’t make the 1198 electric. What they have actually made is a Ducati Bicycle named City Pearl.

The reason why this Ducati bike is hybrid is because it is powered by your feet and also by a 36 Volt, 250 W electric motor. The motor get its juice from a Li-Ion battery pack made by Panasonic that can be fully charged in just 6 hours. When fully charged the electric motor can take the bike at a maximum speed of 25km/h. And in case you feel like having a through workout, the battery pack can be detached and kept at home as well.

The Ducati hybrid bike is made from an aluminum frame chassis with 26” front wheel and a 28” rear wheel. It comes with a 7 speed Shimano gear box as well.
