Is this the Honda 250cc coming to India?

We’re quite confused. Last week we reported Honda’s 250cc motorcycle is the VTR250 based on many reports that were flying off the shelf. Now, we have a lot of activity going on in Indonesia and the bike in suspicion is the CBR250.

Honda has acknowledged that it is working on a motorcycle along the lines of the Karizma but has held back the displacement. According to our sources, Honda’s 250cc bike is codenamed KYZ, but that’s about all we know.

Honda CBR 250R

Honda CBR 250R is the Honda 250cc for India?

After the introduction of the VFR1200F, we think this is the more probable 250cc bike for India since it carries very similar styling. The recently launched CB Twister followed a similar procedure of following the bigger bike to the market it gained inspiration from.

The CBR250R will be launched in Indonesia on the 30th October and Honda could eventually sell it here in India. We’re expecting the bike or an announcement during Diwali this year.

The Honda CBR250R carries the CB tag which even bikes like the Unicorn and Shine don these days. We have no doubts that it will retain its name in India. No one will complain if it was called CBR250R.

What do you think about this bike? Would you want the CBR250R or the VTR250 for about a lakh and a half?
