After a long time Suzuki is planning to launch a new model in India. Suzuki will be introducing another 125cc motorcycle called the SlingShot.
The SlingShot is expected to be launched in the 1st week of June this year. This bike will be equipped with a 125cc engine and a 5 speed gear box. The entire technical specs are not known as of now but we don’t expect them to be much different from the 125cc Zeus.
When Indian Motos Blog contacted the local Suzuki dealer regarding this development, a sales executive had this to say -
The bike will be based on the Suzuki Zeus and will have a 125cc engine. It will meet all emission standards so that it can be sold in major cities. We have no further information.
Suzuki Slingshot Features
From the images it looks that Suzuki has paid special attention to the looks of the bike and have tried whatever they could have done to make the 125cc bike more attractive and sportier. The bike resembles to Suzuki GS 150R a little bit as well, the fuel tanks perhaps could be borrowed from the 150cc motorcycle.
The all-analog meter console sits on top of the headlamp which is makes it a little peculiar when looked at. The console also has the gear shift indicator along with the traditional speedo, fuel indicator, etc. The alloy wheels have a different design and looks stylish.
