ThermaHelm keeps your brain cool in case of an injury
You must have come across several helmets when you look out for them in the market, each one has its own uniqueness but ThermaHelm is one of a kind helmet which serves the actual purpose of the helmet i.e. protecting your head.
The speciality of this helmet is that it has a mechanism with the help of which it keeps your brain cool in case of a collision thus preventing the extent of the injury.
This helmet has been designed by Jullian Preston Powers. The concept of this helmet came into Julian’s mind after he met an accident. At that time one of his friend put some ice cubes in his helmet to add soothing effect.
This helmet has one pack each of Ammonium Nitrate and water. These packs are fitted into the helmet in such a way that due to some impact or accident both of these compounds could react with each other and produce the cooling effect.
Such helmets add an extra level of safety in case of an accident but they are pretty expensive. Not to forget how much the helmet is neglected in a country like ours!
