M&M recently had talks with Triumph for a potential tie-up
The British bike manufacturer Triumph is planning to add seven new models to its existing lineup by 2012. The announcement was made at the Triumph’s US dealer conference.
The existing lineup consists of 16 models from three families which are Cruiser, Urban Sport and Modern Classic. After the addition of 7 new models this number will become 23 which will be spread across 7 families as the company will add new categories.
For the year 2010, the company is planning to launch a few limited edition models.
The interesting fact about Triumph is that our very own Mahindra & Mahindra which is planning to launch a high performance bike this year in the country recently held talks with triumph for a potential tie-up.
If M&M makes a collaboration with Triumph then we might be lucky enough to see the bikes from this international brand in our country as well.
