Money control is reporting TVS will venture into Argentina and Mexico with its motorcycles. It will soon begin exporting its bikes to new markets and push the export market share to 18% from the current 10%.
TVS is also planning assembly lines in Bangladesh and Columbia in the next two years. It might produce three-wheelers in those locations. It will export the autorickshaws from India to parts of Asia and Africa where public transport is still in a very ancient stage.
TVS plans to sell at least 4.8 lakh units of scooters in FY11, 1.8 lakh more than what it managed the previous year. It hopes its Wego and Scooty range will help achieve this goal.
