TVS Motor Company is selling 8,000 numbers of its Jive motorcycle in India its representative revealed in a recent interview with Network 18.
The new commuter model, which was unveiled last year, is India’s first motorcycle with a clutchless transmission. TVS has said this motorcycle will be the suitable one for the first-time rider due to its ease of operation. The Jive, on paper, is a perfect motorcycle for our congested metros.

It’s catching up, the new concept is catching up and all the people who purchased the product are extremely happy and very soon the numbers will further increase substantially.
The numbers convey that the Indian two-wheeler rider is indeed open to new concepts as long as it is an integral part of his regular ride. Reinventing the wheel might not necessarily work, but effective changes can come in the form of component and technology upgrades to an everyday product which the customer is willing to invest on.
