TVS is getting set to launch a new motorcycle by this time next month. The name and the category in which the bike will be positioned is yet to be revealed, but when IMB contacted Mr. H.S Goindi, Head of Sales, Service and Marketing, at TVS Motor Company, he had this to say -
Post one month onwards from now, we will be launching an all new bike into the Indian two-wheeler space. The exact date details of this motorcycle will be revealed in an announcement in the beginning of July.
When we asked Mr. Goindi whether the new bike to be launched would be the revived TVS Max-R or not, he told us that -
We’re trying to put a different type of motorcycle in the market.
So, all the rumors floating around about the TVS Max-R being revived with an all-new 100cc engine looks to be plain speculation, as the brand name and launch date of TVS’s new bike will only be revealed next month. We feel it might not be Max R but something similar to it.
