Valentino Rossi’s sculpture wins the snow sculpture competition

We all know what havoc Valentino Rossi’s visit caused at the 2010 Auto-Expo. It gave the officials at the event a tough time managing a sea of people who came there to get a glimpse of ‘the doctor.’ The main glass door of hall no.7 where the Yamaha’s stall was, shattered to pieces, thanks to the uncontrollable crowd pushing and swerving.

At the same time in a different part of the world, Rossi’s snow sculpture, created with startling accuracy and lot patience, is in the news. At the 14th snow sculpture competition held in Selva di Val Gardena, Italy, Rossi’s snow sculpture won the first place. The theme of the competition this year was “International Sports Personalities”.

Another interesting fact about this year’s competition was the first runner’s up slot also went to another Rossi’s sculpture.

Samuel Perathoner was followed by Matthias Kostner as the top two winners of this snow sculpture competition. This truly shows how much the Italians love their number one star.
