Yamaha in its press release declaring last month’s sales numbers mentions it will introduce “Midnight Special color scheme” on its FZ Series bikes (FZ16 and FZ-S) during Diwali 2010.
Yamaha FZ-S will experience midnight even at dawn
When Yamaha says “Midnight Special color scheme” one can only think of glitters or paint schemes with suspended particles. Perhaps black bikes with decals containing stars, moons and angels with wands is what they mean?
Hey Yamaha, where’s the Fazer 250? That more exciting than announcing midnight paint scheme plans.

I feel the midnight scheme might have Dark Blue or maybe even Dark Purple shade with some silver bits.
Or It could also be a full black on black bike scheme which would be produced in limited numbers only.
Well i think that it will have golden alloys with some new graphics in golden color to match with the alloys..

I was in yamha showroom yesterday…. Midnight edition of yamha have black color with golden graphics and yes they have add the kick option also …..The cost of bike was 69K (FZ), 72K (FZS) at dehradun showroom.
I personally didn’t like the the graphics of midnight edition as it was very much similar to black cyber green model of FZS and the black cyber green was far better than this new color.
I have booked my FZS (black cyber green) and will get till Wednesday.
