I would definitely buy this machine if it sported disc brakes in the front and rear. But yes, Yamaha is now choosing to limit options.

My father used to own a Yamaha RX 100 and he was proud of it. Then they went on a self destruct mode by attempting poor imitation of Hero Honda’s strategy.

I was appalled to see the ugliest headlight in the Libero. Fortunately the Yamaha Management realized that they had to come up with something good soon and I am sure the design of FZ series is a brain child of some renowned designers.

My question is, why can’t these guys see what is missing in the market?
When one applies brakes during rainy whether, these bikes without disk brakes come to a jolting halt. Disc brakes on the other hand is not so. Indian made bike makers (Bajaj and TVS) makes Value For Money Bikes that have a substandard quality. Majority of the Indians have a fair idea about quality and features, but unfortunately only Honda understands this.
